What is the ACA Repeal?

The Affordable Care Act or the ACA or Obamacare is the health reform law created in 2010. The ACA is health care legislation that is composed of two parts the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) and the Heath Care and Education Reconciliation Act

The ACA Repeal spear-headed by President Trump and Republican Congressional leaders is working on "repealing and replacing" the ACA with an alternative health care act. 

Current state of the ACA Repeal

The Affordable Care Act repeal has been introduced and a budget has been drafted to take into account the repeal and replace circumstances as of January 12th, 2017. 

The various bills that result in the complete repeal of the Affordable Care Act still have to pass the House, the Senate and the President in order to become law as of February 13th, 2017.
