Most important database for the discipline of philosophy. Find articles, books, and book reviews. Includes articles from Asian Philosophy, Journal of Chinese Philosophy. and Philosophy East and West. - Religion & Philosophy Collection This is the religion and philosophy subset of the larger database Academic Search Premier.
- ATLA Religion Database Database of the American Theological Library Association. Though western-oriented, contains articles on Asian religions. Good for articles comparing eastern and western religions.
- Academic Search Premier Very large multidisciplinary database. Covers all disciplines and time periods. Narrow results by using the indexes to left of search results screen.
- JSTOR Large database of scholarly articles. In Advanced Search, scroll down to limit search by subject area. Select the check box "Article" to exclude book reviews. To exclude older articles, put in a date range.
- Oxford Scholarship Online A database of online books from Oxford University Press. Includes philosophy, psychology, and religion books.
- Project Muse A full-text multidisciplinary database of scholarly journals. Includes philosophy, religion, and psychology and psychiatry.

- Diamond: Library Catalog Search here for books owned by Temple.
- E-ZBorrow Search here for books from PA libraries if Temple doesn't have or is checked out, requests are received in 3-5 business days.
- WorldCat Search here for books across libraries worldwide. You can request books you find that Temple doesn't have through E-ZBorrow or Interlibrary Loan.
- ILLIAD Request books that are not available in the Temple Libraries or from E-ZBorrow. Requests can take many days or weeks to arrive, plan ahead.

- Hospitality & Tourism Complete A database concerning tourism and the tourism industry. Good place to look for popular/commercial aspects of Asian art and culture.
- Oxford Art Online Lots of images and information on Asian art and artists. Try searching by country, i.e. China, Japan, Vietnam, etc.
- Garland Encyclopedia of World Music Information on many different Asian musical traditions.
- Contemporary World Music Lots of audio tracks of Asian music. Try Browsing by Place for Asian countries (click on "Browse" on top menu, then choose "Places".
- Smithsonian Global Sound Lots of Asian audio tracks in here. Try browsing by country.
