Council for State Governments (CSG) Knowledge Center "CSG is a region-based forum that fosters the exchange of insights and ideas to help state officials shape public policy." The organization publishes Suggested State Legislation  which are bills on various topics. Use the "Policies & Research" tab to search.

The Web is full of sites offereing model legislation on just about any topic. You can search, say, Google for the topic and the phrase model legislation, for example education and model legislation  You can also be sure that every one of the sites you find has a bias and an agenda behind it. Use all of your information literacy skills to find out about what special interests are behind a given site if it looks useful to you.
