Find History Theses & Dissertations: The Diamond Catalog
A chronological list of the nearly 300 Temple history theses and dissertations cataloged in Diamond since 1979 (newest to oldest) can be viewed here. To search within this list, perform a keyword search in Diamond as follows (simply copy/paste into Diamond):
s:"History -- Temple University Theses." AND [search term of choice]
Examples:
s:"History -- Temple University Theses." AND war*
s:"History -- Temple University Theses." AND wom?n
In a Diamond keyword search, "s:" instructs the database to return only records that match a particular subject heading, in this case "History -- Temple University Theses". This heading also retrieves dissertations created under the sponsorship of the Art History Department, i.e. Art -- History -- Temple University Theses.
Temple dissertations are shelved alphabetically by author and are located on the the 3rd floor of Paley Library (northeast quadrant). In the future, access to newly created Temple dissertations will be through the ProQuest database only (at left).
