RefWorks
Throughout the various unit assignments you must properly cite your sources as described in the History Undergraduate Handbook. The latter is based on Turabian, itself a variant of the Chicago style.
Manage your citations with RefWorks, an online tool that allows researchers to easily import, export, search, and create formatted bibliographies. Citations found via searches in library databases such as JSTOR can be imported directly into RefWorks. No manual typing required. Bibliographies generated within RefWorks can then be exported into Word using any of dozens of citation formats (MLA, APA, Chicago, Turabian, etc.).
Important Note: RefWorks can save you a great deal of time and effort, but it cannot absolve you of the responsibility of ensuring that your bibliography conforms to the style outlined in the History Undergraduate Handbook. Bottom line: check your RefWorks-formatted bibliography against the examples listed in the Handbook.
