    Journal Articles, Book Reviews. Most authoritative database for the discipline of philosophy.
    A full-text philosophy database containing mostly small, respected philosophy journals.
  • JSTOR  
    A vast scholarly full-text archive that covers humanities, social sciences, and life sciences. Use "Advanced Search" to limit your search to specific subject categories. JSTOR does not cover the most recent five years of a publication.
  • Sociological Abstracts  
    Look here for sociological coverage of feminism, epistemology, and philosophy of science.
  • Web of Science  
    Covers professional and scholarly literature of humanities, social sciences, and sciences.

    "Oxford Scholarship Online is a cross-searchable library containing the full text of important scholarly books from Oxford University Press." Temple U. owns the philosophy, political science, psychology, and religion.
  • Blackwell Reference Online
    A collection of Blackwell's companions, guides, and dictionaries in philosophy and religion. Great for overviews of philosophical and religious issues.
  • Cambridge Histories Online
    Includes Cambridge History of Science, and Cambridge History of Philosophy. Use "Browse" to go to these two publications and then search.

    Search here for books from PA libraries if Temple doesn't have or is checked out, requests are received in 3-5 business days.

    Search here for books across libraries worldwide. You can request books you find that Temple doesn't have through E-ZBorrow or Interlibrary Loan.
