- If your article is not available in print or via another research database, request it using interlibrary loan.

To find articles, start with one of these databases:
Academic Search Premier (ASP) Multi-disciplinary full text database indexing over 4,500 scholarly and popular publications, over 3700 peer reviewed! Updated daily.
For even more, you can search the medical literature:
PubMed Multidisciplinary medical database. PubMed contains references to journal articles from more than 4,600 biomedical journals. Updated weekly.
Find specific publications
You are able to focus your search on specific publications, for example the New York Times or Scientific American.
- Scientific American via EbscohostScientific American, full text, 2005 - present, bibliographic records, 1984 - present.
- New York Times (via Proquest Newsstand)Some newspapers include substantive coverage of engineering, science and medical advances. Search the New York Times, including the Tuesday science section and the New York Times Magazine. From Access World News you can search other papers worldwide.
Search the Web
To eliminate personal and most commercial sites, instead of using Google, consider:
"For Scientific Information Only." Searches a subset of the web: journals, scientists' homepages, courseware, pre-print server material, patents and institutional repository and website information.
A subset of Google Web Search that searches specifically for scholarly materials such as peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts and technical reports.
