Can't Locate Your Article Online?

  • Use the Find Full Textbutton available from most databases to locate the entire article online.
  • If your article is not available in print or via another research database, request it using interlibrary loan.

Below are some major plus local television and radio archives. While some provide streaming content, the majority of recordings are not available online.

The Libraries' Special Collections Research Center houses two major Philadelphia broadcasting archives: 6ABC (WPVI-TV) footage and CBS 3 (KYW-TV) footage.

The SCRC also houses three major Philadelphia newspaper clipping archives: Philadelphia Evening Bulletin, Philadelphia Inquirer, and Philly Daily News, in addition to the photograph archive of the Philadelphia Evening Bulletin. Some of the Evening Bulletin photographs are available online.

Configure Google Scholar

Google Scholar

You can set up Google Scholar so that it directly connects you to Temple University's online journals.

When you are working on campus, Google Scholar provides you with a way to link to the full-text of an article. These links will say: Find Full-Text @ TU, and they will lead you to the full-text of the articles. You can also set up Google Scholar so that you can get to the Find Full-Text @ TU link from home. To do this, take the following steps:

  • Go to Google Scholar
  • Click on Settings, a link on the upper right-hand corner of the page.
  • Scroll down to Library Links as shown below.
  • Type in Temple University, click on Find Library, and select "Temple University -- Find Full-Text @ TU."
