Reference works, i.e. encyclopedias and dictionaries, are an excellent source of facts, dates, events, biographies, explanations, surveys, bibliographies, and general overviews.  Use these to start your research or for quick answers to satisfy your curiosity.

For detailed biographies of important relgious figures, start with the encyclopedias under "Reference Shelf" above. The links below are best for more general purposes.

RefWorks is a web-based personal database for storing, organizing, and formatting you citations (paid for by the Temple Libraries). You can:

RefShare is the area of Refworks where you can post bibliographies for others to view, comment on, and download. Allow access to an individual, groups of individuals, or the entire Temple community. Take a look at some of the bibliographies I've created under "Religion"!
