Use these library resources to conduct research on specific wars and conflicts. Keep in mind the time period of the war you are studying (historic or contemporary) because this will have an impact on the type of sources available.

Find Books: The Basics

Search the Libraries' online catalog, Diamond, to find books owned by Temple University Libraries. Search by author, title, subject, or keyword. A keyword search includes all fields.

Example: To look for books about the environmental history of the American Civil War, try using the following keywords in the library search bar: "Civil War" AND "environmental history"
