In order to successfully vote in this year's election, think ahead and make a voting plan.
Step 1 - Make sure you are registered to vote and confirm your registration status is up-to-date.
Step 2 - Decide how you are going to vote, by mail or in-person. If you are going to use a mail-in voting option, remember to request your ballot early and don't wait until the last minute to return your completed ballot. If you plan to vote in-person, check the location and hours of your polling place.
Step 3 - Follow through on your voting plan.
