SimplyAnalytics is a web-based mapping and analytics platform that allows users to access and visualize demographics, business, and marketing data. It includes data from a variety of sources, including Nielsen, Simmons, and the Census Bureau. SimplyAnalytics is a good options for users who are interested im understanding the demographics and consumer behavior of different areas.
Access SymplyAnalytics through the Temple University Libraries website. Just type "PolicyMap" in the library's search bar or in the Find a Database and, under database click on the link to PolicyMap.

Note: Trial access for David Leip's US Election data is now available in SimplyAnalytics through 12/22/2025. Coverage includes Presidential, Senate, House, and gubernatorial elections [2000-2024], as well as voter registration and turnout information [2000-2022, even years only].

Maps can be exported as high-resolution images; data can be selected, sorted, and compared to build custom reports that can be exported to a spreadsheet.
Create an account with your temple.edu email and SimplyAnalytics will save your searches and variables to save you time on future searches.
To create you personal account:
1. Click on "Create an Account" on the bottom of the sign in window.
2. Enter your email address and create a password.
3. Verify your account following the instructions in the email.
