Find Books & Articles via Library Search

Library Search is your gateway to discover books, journal articles, and much more at Temple University Libraries. Additional information can be found in our Library Search FAQ's.

Find History Books: Tips

Use Library Search to find books owned by Temple University Libraries. You can search by author, title, subject, or keyword.

  • Select the "Books" box to see all of the books and e-books on your topic. Use the filters to the left to narrow your results by library location, publication date, era, etc.
  • Once you find a book that seems useful, check the list of Subject links in the item's record. Try these links to find additional books on the same topic.
  • For example the subject: China — History — Cultural Revolution, 1966-1976, will take you to other books on the history of the cultural revolution.

Books From Other Libraries

If Temple does not own the book, you can request it from another library via E-Z Borrow or ILLiad.
