1. Pull the drawer out so that the two planes of glass are separated.
2. Make sure that the leader (end of the film strip) is to the upper right, and place it on the spool of the machine.
3. Once it is on, feed the leader under the first roller, between the panes of glass, and then under the second roller.
4. Finally, tuck the end of the leader into the second spool, turn it clockwise, and close the drawer. You're good to go!
Note: pushing the drawer in too far moves it past the lens. If you don't see the image on the screen, try slowly moving the drawer back out as seen in step 1.

2. Keeping the alignment as straight as possible, place the microfiche card on the tray and and close drawer. You're ready to go!
