Good citizenship

Please adhere to policies and due dates dictated by Paley Library or the lending library. Failure to renew or return materials will result in fines.

Materials retrieved via ILLiad will be available for use only in the Law Library and may not be signed out long-term. Request materials at the Library Desk.

Still can't find what you're looking for? Ask a librarian!

Library Locations

Temple's University Libraries' collections span several locations.  To learn more about where an item is, click on the Item Location link in the record.

Retrieve materials from other local Temple campuses, such as Ambler, using the Request button.

Older materials may be housed at Temple's Library Depository.  Use the Library Depository Request button in the catalog record to retrieve those titles or articles.  Books will be delivered to the Paley Library while articles will be scanned and sent to you via email.

Borrowing

Those participating in the cite checking process are governed by the same rules which apply to all library users.  Library materials are checked out to individuals who remain responsible for them.  These items should be kept in a secure place such as the Journal offices.  It is unwise to let them remain in carrels in open areas.  Users who should note when library materials are to be returned and if they need to use them should renew them in a timely way.  While these rules apply to items borrowed form the Law Library, the circulation policies of the University Library must be observed for items borrowed from the Paley Library or the Medical Library.  They should be kept in a secure place and returned or renewed promptly.  Failure to do so may cause difficulties in registration for the next semester or for the graduation process.

Materials borrowed through interlibrary loan must be used in strict accordance with the rules governing the process.  It is imperative that they be kept secure and returned on time.

Thank you for your co-operation with these rules.
