The Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS), 17th edition, is the University of Chicago Press Editorial Staff's guide covering a variety of topics from manuscript preparation and publication to style, usage, grammar, and documentation. There is an Author-Date style and a Notes and Bibliography style.
