This is an important resource maintained by the Botanical Society. Most of the images were scanned from the collections of individual members.

Approximately 200 member clubs make up the organization founded in 1913. They promote the interdependence of community improvement, environmental protection and horticulture. The Garden History and Design Committee provided glass slides and slides which make up the core collection of the Smithsonian's Archives of American Gardens.

Collection of 2,000 images covering the time period roughly from the 1930s to the 1970s which document the agricultural history of the state. Over 7,000 photographs are held at the archives, but only 2,000 photos have been scanned so far, the others are indexed. These photos were used by the Department of Agriculture for pamphlets, magazines, pamphlets, etc.
