Federal Legislative History: Find Books

Find the purpose or intent of a law by researching its legislative history.

Paley Library

Paley Library

The Paley Library at 13th street and Berks Mall is Temple’s main library.  Books you check out will be due at the end of the current semester.  Please note the due date on books checked out to your record.  If you have overdue materials, you will be charged overdue fines (25¢ per day) and it may cause difficulties when you attempt to borrow more books.

If you would like your research assistant to retrieve books from Paley for you, send them to the law library reference desk for instructions.

If you cannot or are unable to obtain or return a book from Paley yourself and you do not have a research assistant who can do this for you, contact John Necci.

Yes, you can!

Check out books & browse the stacks

Law students and faculty can browse the shelves in the closed stacks and sign out books, even when the catalog says "Law Closed Stacks" or "Library Use Only." Just ask a librarian.
