Open Science Framework (OSF) is a free and open source project management tool that supports researchers throughout their entire project lifecycle. OSF is developed and maintained by the Center for Open Science with the intention of fostering "openness, integrity, and reproducibility of research."
A project in OSF can be an experiment, a lab group, or a paper—anything that has contributing members and files or explanatory texts/images. It is a highly adaptable framework. Projects and just parts of projects (for example, data sets) can be made public and open or restricted at any stage.
