PBI is the continuing legal education arm of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. It regularly publishes practice guides on a wide variety of topics. The Temple Law Library has many PBI publications. To find them in the library catalog, under Books & Media select Advanced Search, type "Pennsylvania Bar Institute" in the Author/creator field, and type the topic of interest into the Subject field.

The Pennsylvania Manual is a comprehensive guide to Pennsylvania's state and local government. The Manual usually is published biennially and includes Pennsylvania history, the Constitution, and information regarding elections, municipalities and local and state office holders. The Manual also profiles the powers, functions, and duties of the executive, judicial, and legislative branches of Commonwealth government.
