Depending on the trend you choose there are many other possible databases you could search. For example: if sports is a defining or major aspect of your teen trend you may want to search in the database SPORTDiscus.
A scholarly search engine that is good for getting started. Do a quick search here to make sure you can find scholarly sources on your chosen trend as you are deciding on your topic.
A multi-disciplinary database that should have information on most teen trends. Scholarly/peer-reviewed articles as well as news and magazine articles appear here.
This is a psychology database, but it contains a wide assortment of social science journals. It could be good for researching teen trends because many of the source here address identity formation. Also, this database lets you limit by age group, so you can search for articles that only address adolescents.
