Find Children's Literature : Home


Children's literature, also known as juvenile fiction, is located throughout Temple Libraries. You'll fnd much of our collection on the third floor of Paley Library in the PZ7 area; however, genres such as biography and non-fiction may be located outside of the PZ7s. Use this guide to search for and discover children's books, specifically in the course Children's Literature: Pre-K through Fourth Grade (ECED 4102). Finding Children's Books in Temple Libraries

Use the library catalog to identify children's books before searching the library shelves.

To find fiction children's books, you'll need to use subject searching. In advanced search with the subject filter for "juvenile fiction," add a keyword for topic and/or genre you're interested in. An example might be subject: "juvenile fiction" and "bears."
