America's Historical Imprints
Includes historical advertisements, ballads, broadsides, cookbooks, grammars, memoirs, novels, prayer books, prospectuses, sermons, songs, textbooks, trade catalogues, and travel literature from the 1530s to 1920s.
Google Books
Try searching for names of people, places, and events you discover in Google Books to determine if they were ever mentioned or discussed at length.
