The Independent Publishing Resource Center seeks to help provide individual access to tools and resources for creating independently published media and artwork.

ZAPP offers classes on all aspects of zines and zine-making, from the history of zines and teaching with zines to workshops on binding methods and creating stamps.

Stolen Sharpie Revolution is a "useful tool in the creation of zines and the celebration of the ever changing zine community." New, events and resources all about zines.

The Queer Zine Archive Project is an online archive, based in Milwaukee and run by a group of six anonymous people since 2003, collecting queer zines from the last three decades and making them available online for free. Their website is a lesson in queer history, full of rare zines, including all the issues of J.D.s, the legendary queercore zine by G.B. Jones and Bruce LaBruce from the late 80s and early 90s.

Zine World features reviews and information about zines, comics, self published books, chapbooks, and other DIY publications. It has been called the best review zine being published in the US.

The Machete Group is an international consortium of artists and intellectuals based at Marginal Utility Gallery in Philadelphia. They run the zine Machete.

Megawords collaborates with artists, photographers, designers, writers, and musicians, in publishing a zine. They also stock other zines.

Held annually, the Fest showcases local artists and zinesters, as well as zine distros, bringing DIY, radical, whimsical, and artistic small press publications to the public.

The Philadelphia-produced Possible Press is a free newsprint quarterly art zine.

The Zine Library collects, describes and houses a large variety of zines and serves the central mission of The Soapbox: Independent Publishing Center by reaching out to the community to promote the spirit of self publishing.

Space 1026 is both a gallery and a network of artists in Philadelphia. They also stock zines. We have some of their own zines in our Contemporary Culture Collection here at Temple.

Run on the principles of consensus decision-making by an all-volunteer anarchist collective, Wooden Shoe has been in Philadelphia for over thirty years. They stock zines and sometimes host zine-related events.
