Livingstone Undergraduate Research Awards

Honors the best library research projects produced each year by Temple University undergraduates.

How To Apply

Applicants should have the following materials ready prior to applying:

  1. Completed project OR Rough draft of project with work plan for completion.
  2. Name and contact information for faculty mentor associated with project (or, for GenEd prize, name and contact information for the course instructor)
  3. In 500-1000 words, reflect on your research process. As you do so, please consider these questions:
    • Using specific examples, describe the library resources (for example, databases, books or journals, staff) that you used in your research.  

    • How did you evaluate the quality and authority of these sources in supporting your research?  

    • What specific successes or challenges helped you to grow as a library researcher?  

  4. Complete and submit the application form by Monday, March 3, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time)
