Applicants should have the following materials ready prior to applying:
- Completed project OR Rough draft of project with work plan for completion.
- Name and contact information for faculty mentor associated with project (or, for GenEd prize, name and contact information for the course instructor)
- Complete research essay. In 500 words or less, please address the prompts below:
- Describe your research process. As you do so, explain:
- Using specific examples, describe the library resources (for example, databases or
journals, staff) that you used in your research.
- How did you evaluate the quality and usefulness of these sources in supporting your research?
- What were the challenges or difficulties that you encountered on your library research journey?
- How did you overcome these?
- Is there anything you learned about conducting library research that will serve you in the future?
- Complete and submit the application form by February 26, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time)
