CINAHL Provides indexing for nursing and health journals. The database contains records dating back to 1972. In addition, the database offers access to health care books, nursing dissertations, and selected conference proceedings.
CINAHL Abstracting and Indexing Database

HaPI is a bibliographic database that indexes measurements and instrumentation to assess human health and behavior, from books, leading journals and other sources covering health and psychosocial sciences. HaPI indexes questionnaires, rating scales, surveys, interview schedules, checklists, coding schemes, tests, tools, and other measurements to conduct research in the disciplines of psychology, sociology, nursing, organizational behavior, medicine, public health, social work, education, and communication. The record provides citation information of sources that uses the instruments and not the actual instruments. The producer, Behavioral Measurement Database Services, offers a merit-based HaPI measurement scholarship and posts a how to use guide and description of the fields. PubMed comprises more than 37 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. Citations may include links to full-text content from PubMed Central and publisher web sites. MEDLINE (Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online) is the largest component of PubMed and consists primarily of journal citations; articles indexed with MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) and curated with funding, genetic, chemical and other metadata.

Enter relevant keywords and add appropriate MeSH terms such as: “Psychological tests”, “Psychometrics”, “Psychiatric status rating scales” or “Questionnaires”.

ProQuest Dissertations & Theses (PQDT) Global This link opens in a new window
PQDT Global offers millions of works from thousands of universities. Full-text coverage spans from 1743 to the present, with citation coverage dating back to 1637.

Search for the name of the test or measure and limit to the “Abstract” or “Title” field. Check the table of contents of the dissertation or thesis to see if the instrument is included in the appendix.

Kanopy is an on-demand streaming video service for educational institutions, and it includes videos from the Symptom Media online mental health education and Psychotherapy.net training film libraries. The DSM 5 Guided Collection showcases symptoms unfolding, to provide visual case scenarios to complement descriptions and definitions from the text. Some of these videos may need to be requested through the form on the item page in Kanopy.
