Pennsylvania's Magisterial District Courts are considered "minor courts," with limited jurisdiction as defined by Pennsylvania statute 42 Pa.C.S. § 1515. Each Pennsylvania county except Philadelphia has a Magisterial District Court. These courts are intended to provider faster, simpler court access for lower-level legal matters.
The Unified Judicial System of Pennsylvania has dockets for magisterial district courts available here. These dockets do not link to court documents, and magisterial district court documents are not available from the Unified Judicial System.
