Strategies for Publishing Qualitative Research

This guide supplements information on the Publishing Support Guide by providing strategies specifically for getting your qualitative research or project disseminated.

1. Start first with the Publishing Support guide for general information on the following considerations:

  • Discover journals appropriate for your work's scope and purpose
  • Identify journals that accept student/resident work
  • Assess journals for quality
  • Avoid publishing in predatory journals
  • Provide resources to improve your academic writing skills
  • Select a Temple supported citation manager
  • Understand submission expectations to increase the likelihood your work will be accepted for publication
