Course Reserves for Instructors

This guide will introduce you to the libraries' course reserves program, which you can use to make your course materials freely available to students. Have questions about reserves? Email us at preserve@temple.edu.

What types of materials can go on reserve?

Your course reserve reading list can house all of your course materials so students only have to look in one place. Types of materials you can add include, but are not limited to: 

  • Books (electronic or physical) 

  • Book chapters 

  • Journal articles 

  • Videos (DVDs or streaming) 

  • Web content (news articles, webpages, videos, podcasts, etc)
