How do I check out physical reserves?
To check out an item on physical reserve, visit the One Stop Assistance Desk at Charles Library and let a library staff member know which item you'd like to check out.
How long can I keep reserve items?
Reserve books have a three hour loan period and can only be used while in the library building.
Reserves DVDs have a four hour loan period. We have DVD and Blu Ray players available for checkout, as well as a media viewing room. To reserve the room, stop by the One Stop Assistance Desk or call (215) 204-8212.
Reserve items are not renewable and fines accrue at the rate of $1 per hour.
Instructors can check out their own course's reserves for one week. If you are an instructor checking out your own reserves, let the library staff member know so they can change the due date for you.
