Course Reserves for Instructors

This guide will introduce you to the libraries' course reserves program, which you can use to make your course materials freely available to students. Have questions about reserves? Email us at preserve@temple.edu.

Managing sections

The system organizes your reading list into different sections, such as topics, weeks, or units. You get to choose the specifics for each course.  

When you create a new reading list, you'll be given a drop down menu of options for sections. See "Creating your list" for more details.

You can also adjust your sections after you've created your list. Click the green "Add" button in the top right corner and select "New Section" to add a new section.

You'll have to title your section, and can add an optional description and/or optional start and end dates. You can use the drop down menu to choose where the section appears in relation to other sections. Click "Add" when you are done.

To move a section around in the list, hover over the section title. Then click and hold the six dots to the left of the section title. Drag the section to your preferred place in the list. 

To edit or delete a section, hover over the section title and click the three dots to the right of the title. Then click "Edit Section" or "Delete Section."
